The Toronto Transit Commission began on-street testing of its new streetcar fleet, having successfully run its test vehicle last night from TTC’s Hillcrest facility at 1138 Bathurst St. to Bathurst Station and back. The Bombardier built TTC fleet of 204 new streetcars costing $1.2 billion looked sharp, maybe even too modern for areas of our aging city.
