A Miele Vacuum Billboard Tunnel That Wasn't Really There

A Billboard went up to promote a Miele vacuum, but the billboard was nonexistent.

The task was to promote the “monster suction” of the extra powerful Miele S8 vacuum cleaner. They created an online video that shows how the machine can vacuum absolutely everything.

A well-known tunnel in Slovakia was turned into a pipe of the Miele S8. The pipe indeed vacuumed everything – even cars and trucks.

6 Disabled Squatters Preform "Our House" To Raise Awareness For Inclusie Invest

In Belgium, about 5.000 disabled people are on a waiting list for a disabled-friendly house. To make the public aware of that acute housing shortage, 6 disabled people decided to squat an old mansion in Brussels. Their motto? You can’t live on a waiting list. Inclusie Invest, a non-profit cooperative society, organizes such housing projects. To make people aware of Inclusie Invest and the housing shortage, 6 disabled squatters also recorded their own version of Madness’ well-known hit Our House. The breath-taking video clip, performed by 1 blind, 3 people with Down syndrome and 2 wheelchair patients, was directed by Guy Goossens. The street of the squatted house was also recreated online on kraakmee.be. People who like the campaign can squat along virtually, letting the house grow and grow.

Aksel Lund Svindal "Beyond Reason" Joins Team Oakley

Four-time World Champion, Olympic gold medalist and a two-time overall World Cup Champion, Askel Lund Svindal joins Team Oakley. A nicely shot ad entitled "Beyond Reason" tells the story of Aksel on how his life is all about chasing the snow and skiing.

Norwegian alpine ski champ, Aksel Lund Svindal is a force to be reckoned with. You can find Aksel flying down some the world’s quickest hills at the most insane speeds imaginable. He blows through gates with precision and power, while blazing down the mountain in lightning fast times. Born to a ski family, Svindal quickly refined his craft and rose to the top of the sport. He’s remained there throughout his remarkably successful career, finishing in the top four in World Cup rankings every year since 2006. Svindal is not only a savvy skier. He knows what he’s talking about when it comes to business, marketing, product and sponsorships. That’s why it made even more sense for him to join the Oakley team.

Music was composed and arranged specifically for this commercial by German Wahnsinn.

Microsoft Admits IE Internet Explorer Sucks In New Ad

Microsoft launches another ad campaign today promoting Internet Explorer 10 with this new commercial entitled "Do You Know This Guy" along with a microsite The Browser You Love To Hate.

In other Microsoft ad spotting, check out their attack ad, Scroogled as Bing still tries to take on Google, see it HERE.

Microsoft Attacks Google In Another Sad Attempt With Scroogled Ad Campaign

Microsoft today launched a "Don’t Get Scroogled" ad campaign with a web video ad and a website asking people to share stories of bad Google search results. Sadly, this attack ad on Google will back fire, early results seem to be bad for Bing and Microsoft as most comments on their Facebook page and YouTube (ironically funny as the video is uploaded on said Scroogler owned YouTube) are favoring Google, looks like Microsoft Scroogled themselves again.

The website reads:
In the beginning, Google preached, “Don’t be evil“—but that changed on May 31, 2012. That’s when Google Shopping announced a new initiative. Simply put, all of their shopping results are now paid ads. In their under-the-radar announcement, Google admits they’ve now built “a purely commercial model” that delivers listings ranked by “bid price.” Google Shopping is nothing more than a list of targeted ads that unsuspecting customers assume are search results.

The attack ad is too much, with comments like “Google > Bing… Attack ads just show how desperate they are for users” and “Bing is hopeless.. negative marketing will get you nowhere.” You can check out the Scroogled ad above and decide for yourself.

Toyota Tundra This Is "Where We Come From"

Gulf States Toyota launched a new campaign titled “Where We Come From,” which highlights Tundra and Corolla plants in Texas and Mississippi. Despite what some people might think, these two models are among the vehicles that Toyota builds right here in the United States. Above we meet Rick Cunningham, a plant work from San Antonio, watch him has he goes about his day and discuss' the Toyota way of doing things. "Kaizen is continuous improvement - Kaizen is all around the shop. How do we go the extra mile? With blood, sweat and tears that go into making all our Toyota Tundras."

Never heard the word "Kaizen" before? It's Japanese for "improvement", or "change for the better" refers to philosophy or practices that focus upon continuous improvement of processes in manufacturing, engineering, and business management.

In these two webisodes, Gulf States Toyota takes you behind the scenes through a day in the life at these two plants and showcases, through beautiful cinematography, the end result: new Toyota vehicles manufactured with pride.

Gulf States Toyota, one of the Friedkin Group companies, is an independent private distributor of Toyota vehicles in a five-state region which includes Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi. The company serves a network of 154 dealerships, providing marketing, management support, and vehicle distribution.

Live Human Interactive Digital Display Ad Panel Is Brilliant

27 Nov 2012

Creative digital agency Fullsix knows a thing or two about digital panel display, more specifically interactive panels of the human kind.

First they put an artist inside an outdoor. Not literally, digitally. Then they asked him to draw the passersby in real-time. But instead of paper and pencil, they gave him a Samsung Galaxy Note Tablet. And for the first time, an outdoor became a street artist.

Acer | Exploring Beyond Limits Coming To A Mall Near You

Acer unveils an Experiential Campaign across Europe to encourage shoppers to ‘Explore beyond limits’

Shopping centres across 25 different locations in Europe will play host to a series of interactive experiential stands where Acer will showcase its comprehensive range of Touch-and-Type products with Windows 8.

The stands, which have been created by Mother, are an extension of the current Acer Aspire S7 campaign in which Megan Fox explores her hidden passion for marine biology and uses her Acer Aspire S7 to develop software that allows her to talk to dolphins.

From the front, the stand looks just like a real dolphin tank and it contains a photo realistic dolphin animation running across a bank of up to 12 screens. The dolphin shows off and chats to consumers through Acer’s Aspire S7 and Megan’s software, encouraging them to explore more. At the rear of the stand, is Acer’s latest range of Touch-and-Type products using Windows 8, including tablets, UltrabookTM, notebooks and All-in-One desktops. Customers are free to explore the products and there is also a team of experts, dressed as scientists on hand to guide people around the new products.

“We are really proud of Acer latest range of Touch-and-Type products using Windows 8 and we wanted our customers to be able to experience them in an engaging yet comfortable environment,” emphasises Oliver Ahrens, Acer EMEA President. “Seeing Acer’s latest Windows 8 touch-and-type products from a distance isn’t enough, we wanted customers to be able to experience them first hand and explore what this new technology can offer. Our experts will guide customers through this journey.”

Kieran Bradshaw, strategist from Mother said, “We wanted to use Megan Fox's co-star from the Acer S7 TV spot, Zenya the Dolphin, again—this time to help support the Windows 8 launch and the new Acer touch-type range. Zenya will draw in the crowds at over 20 different locations across Europe and bring the audience witty dolphin banter and an all-new product range”.

The installations will be situated in shopping centres across Europe until December, and can be found in the UK in the Westfield (Shepherd’s Bush) until 4 December and then in Bluewater, the Trafford Centre and the Bullring from 6 until 24 December.
